Kent Island Carvers is a wood carving club located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Organized to promote and preserve the area’s rich heritage of waterfowl decoy carving, club members gather regularly to share ideas, learn new carving and painting techniques, work on their projects and socialize with other carvers. Although the primary focus of the club is on decoy making, many members also carve songbirds and decorative bird carvings.
If you are an experienced carver looking to meet other carvers or if you are interested in learning the craft of decoy making and bird carving, please join us at one of our monthly meetings. We are planning several exciting programs for both new and seasoned carvers to improve or expand their skills. Please see the Meetings page and Programs page for further information. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the club.
